Born in Uhrichsville on Jan. 30, 1914 to the late Marcus L. and Louise M. (Noretto) LeMonte, Mary Elizabeth Albaugh, 94, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Aultman Hospital in Canton after experiencing complications from surgery.
A lifelong resident of the area, Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison and a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in the class of 1933. Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved caring for her family and enjoyed reading.
Mary married Dells Edmund "Ed" Albaugh on Jan. 30, 1940.
Mary is also survived one son; two daughters and their husbands; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also by a brother; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene W., Marcus F. and Joseph W. LeMonte; a sister, Agnes M. Albaugh; a grandson, Eric Albaugh; and daughter-in-law, Myrna Albaugh.
Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery at Dennison.
