Nancy Ann is the 2nd wife of John Quincy Adams Holliday. She is daughter of Jesse Robert and Gemima Deason Philpot and mother to Jesse Robert and Louisa Ann Roby from her 1st marriage to Thomas Greenberry Roby. Nancy and John Holliday had children Julia Caroline, John M., Nancy Belle, Sarah Elizabeth, Jemima and Newell Lake. Nancy died the same year as Newell was born, leaving the question... Did she die from child birth?...very possible back then!
