Mary E. Parker, age 94, a 40-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. Mary was born on September 22, 1922 in Altus, Ark. Mary belonged to the Riviera Baptist Church, the American Legion, Senior volunteers and St. Mary's Food Bank.
In 1944, Mary Ellen Pearl Barber met and married Walter Earl McKercher and lived mostly in Minnesota. Walter passed away in 1973 in Arkansas.
Mary met and married John Parker and moved to California. By way of Moab, Utah from California, they then moved to Bullhead City, Arizona in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter McKercher in 1973; her second husband, John Parker in 1978; her father, Wilson Barber; and mother, Margaret Gray.
Mary is survived by her son, Don McKercher of Bullhead City, Ariz.; daughter, Constance McKercher of Clarksville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Faith Fellowship, 1725 Shamrock, Bullhead City, Ariz. with Pastor Tom Hefliner officiating.
