She loved her Old Saybrook home where she had a passion for decorating, cooking, and creating a warm and loving environment for her family and friends. She also later discovered a love and natural ability for the game of golf, playing as much as possible. She was known among her countless friends, new and old, as an extremely generous and loving person, always giving the most to her family.
She is survived by her beloved and devoted son and daughter, Christopher “Topher” Reifeiss of Mamaroneck, New York, and daughter Kirsten “Kiki” Reifeiss of Old Saybrook. She is also survived by two brothers Brian Carney of North Salem, NY and Paul Carney of Guilford, CT and nieces and nephew Jill Carney, Shaine Carney, Amanda Carney and Devin Carney and great nephew Garrett Carney.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and aides from Middlesex Hospice for their incredible and compassionate care.
