Death occurred at the Grosvenor Apartment House [Hotel], Fifth Avenue and 10th Street.

He had a joint funeral April 7th at Calvary Church with his business partner Herman D. Aldrich, co-founder of McCurdy and Aldrich, who coincidentally died the same day.
