Alene was married to Charles William (Bill) Hubbs who predeceased her in 2005.
Lois Alene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and an avid bridge player. Once she discovered computer bridge she played with people all over the world. She and Bill traveled with his work for the Defense Department and lived in many places around the world including Spain, Australia, Germany, and Morocco before retiring in Eugene, OR, later moving to Renton and Auburn to be closer to their sons, Larry and Bob.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Diane) of Lake Tapps, WA and Bob (Joy) of Ames Lake, WA, 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grand-children and 11 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.
She is also survived by 2 sisters (Bernice Slapnicka and Donnie Castonguay) and her brother (Bud Kershner).
Memorial at Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA at 11AM, June 27.
