Dave as he was called aka Mr.Dave.He was hand picked from a litter and was the 'runt'.Originally born in Grand Tower,IL.,we took him home with us at 5 weeks old.
He was so small that I carried him home in my coat pocket.This lovable guy spent most of his life sleeping in bed with us each night and was father to our old cat named Cormack who still lives with us.
Mr.Dave found him abandoned in our front yard as a small
kitten and adopted him as his companion.After our cat grew up he looked up to Mr.Dave as his paternal parent.Dave had to be euthanized due to liver shutdown problems.He is now buried at the family pet cemetery plot at our home located in Elkville,
Illinois.
