Egypt is the beloved daughter of Chuck (Kristin) Covington of Belleville and Tina Marie Turner-Covington of Ypsilanti; cherished sister of DaJuan (Kim) Gesco of Belleville, Samuel (Nina) Turner of Westland, D'Wayne Turner of Ypsilanti, Beth (Jeremy Cree) Covington of Canton, Jessica Covington of Santa Monica, California and Jordan (Brandon) Albert of Binger, Oklahoma. Egypt is also survived by her significant other, Curtis Meadows of Belleville, grandparents Raymond (Charlotte) Platt of Belleville, multiple niece’s, nephews and cousins.
Born on July 19, 1989 in Detroit, Egypt was a life long Belleville area resident. She had a love of practicing Yoga, playing golf, bow hunting and was truly special when it came to singing and playing the guitar.
Her impact on others outside of her family is indescribable. She was loved by all and belonged to a community. Her positivity and light will be missed by all those she knew.
Her life cannot be expressed by a service; therefore, a celebration of Egypt’s life will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 1st, at the Corner Brewery, 720 Norris Street, Ypsilanti, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to https://www.gofundme.com/egypt-covington-memorial-fund.
Thank you for keeping Egypt's family in your thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
