LaVeeda G. Banks, 94, of Pinole, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Sat. 8 Apr. 2017, at a hospital in Richmond, Calif., from a stroke, surrounded by her family & friends.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sat. at Malone AME Church, 513 Main St., in Sioux City. LaVeeda will be laid to rest next to her parents in Logan Park Cemetery, Sioux City.
Our mom, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma, aunt, cousin & friend would like to invite family & friends to her homecoming celebration to be laid to rest. Following the service, repast will be held at Sanford Community Center, 1700 Geneva St., in Sioux City.
LaVeeda Banks was born on 11 Sept. 1922, the daughter of Albert & Viola Williams of Sioux City.
