Jan, a beautiful daughter, was born to Lois Hampton Henshaw and Gloria Mae (Swanson) Henshaw.

Jan's sister, Bonnie Lou Henshaw, is buried alongside her in the Henshaw Cemetery.

Paternal Grandparents: Ernest Wann Henshaw and Amanda Lou (Swearengin) Henshaw

Maternal Grandparents: William Christian Swanson and Flossie Lily (Peck) Swanson

She was so sweet and loved by all who met her.

Jan was returning home with her friend, James "Willard" Woodall, when they were involved in a head-on collision with another driver. All three were killed in the accident. "Willard" is buried in the Prince Cemetery, Baileytown, Jackson Co., AL.
