Muir Service Planned Today
KELLOGG, Idaho - Funeral services for Barton Robert Muir, 66, retired Bunker Hill Co. engineer who died Thursday at West Shoshone General Hospital, were to be today at 11 a.m. from the Kellogg United Church, with the Rev. Roland Schlueter officiating.
Burial was to be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Spokane.
Mr. Muir was born Sept. 1, 1906 at Minneapolis, Minn. He came to the local district in 1925 and was employed by The Bunker Hill Co. from 1926 until he retired in 1969 as chief research metallurgical engineer.
He married Inez Haugom of Portland, N.C., in 1929 at Portland.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, John Muir, Dallas, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Mariane Humsaker, Yakima, Wash; three grandchildren, and a brother, Fredrick Muir, San Diego, Calif.
