LINCOLN (PNS) --- Mrs. Myrtle Dobson Beckholt, 73, was stricken apparently with a heart attack when she went to the grave of her husband, who was buried earlier in the day. A nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lepley of Mount Vernon, Ohio, stopped Fire Chief Edgar Smith, who was passing. He summoned an ambulance. Mrs. Beckholt was dead on arrival at Lincoln Memorial Hospital at 6:45 p.m. Monday. Coroner John Barry will hold an inquiry.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fricke Memorial Home, the Rev. L. H. Appel officiating. Burial will be in [New] Union Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

A Lincoln woman collapsed and died at her husband's grave a few hours after burial services for him were held today. She was Mrs. Myrtle Dobson Beckholt, 73, who was dead on arrival at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at 6:45 p.m. Her husband, Dr. I. H. Beckholt, died last Friday and was buried in [New] Union Cemetery today. Mrs. Beckholt's death came while she was visiting the grave with her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lepley of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
