HOFFMAN, LOUIS

Louis Hoffman, 52, formerly of Two Rivers, and brother of City Manager
John Hoffman of that city, died Friday afternoon at Yale, Mich., where
he operated a super service station for years.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at Yale, with interment at
Rice Lake, Wis.

Born in Two Rivers in 1893, he spent his early life there and left in
1908. He returned for two years in 1914 and then left again to be
associated with his father in canning factory operations.

In 1920 he was married to Miss Mabel Prochazka of Le Centre, Minn.
The family lived for a time at Centuria and spent more than seven years at Rice Lake.
For the past few years they have lived at Yale, which is about 30 miles
from Port Huron, Mich.

Mr. Hoffman was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and of the
Knights of Columbus.

Survivors are the widow, a son, Charles, who is a member of the marines,
a daughter, Mary Lou, who is a nurse at Milwaukee and a daughter Annette,
at home; one brother, John P. of Two Rivers and four sisters, Mrs.
Lawrence Hessel of Cameron, Mrs. Lawrence Walters, and Mrs. Herman Meyers
of Mendota, Ill., and Sister M. Catherine, who is teaching at Meeme.
