She was employed at General Electric in Linton for 35 years as a roving inspector.
She is survived by son John Mac Powell,a grandson, Jeffery Powell, three brothers, Arthur Summerville, Cletho Summerville, and David Summerville, and sister Mary Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garland Mac Powell, brother Leo Summerville and sisters Lois Estabrook and Garnet Clayton.
She was laid to rest with her husband Garland Mac Powell in Fairview Cemetery.
