In the 1860 census, he's 11 so in 1865 he should be 16. It's possible that he's working on a nearby farm and in that family's census, or he could be deceased. His mother and a sister have died during this 5 year period as well. Was there an epidemic or an accident? If he's deceased, he's buried in Atchison Co., Kansas unless could he have enlisted in or died because of the Civil war???
