Mrs. Russell, who was born December 26, 1949, in Oskaloosa, died early Saturday in a traffic accident in Leavenworth County.
She was the daughter of Charles Leroy Jones and Katherine Mabel Adams Jones.
Mrs. Russell had lived in Lawrence for five years, moving here from Topeka, where she had lived most of her life. She was a graduate of Topeka High School.
She married Herbert Russell on Jan. 13, 1982, at Great Bend. He survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Carol Sue Reedy, Elizabeth Kay Reedy and Angel Sue Kay Russell; a son, Herbert Russell; two sisters, Mrs. Alpha M. Evans, Mrs. Phyllis C. Church, four brothers, Charles L. Jones, Elwin E. Jones, John L. and Phillip R Jones
