Iris, better known as "Doodie" by friends and family was a graduate of Pacelli High School and Austin Junior College with a Paralegal Associates Degree. Her life was full of faith, family, friends and kindness. She created magic by sharing her generous spirit with all those she met. Once she was in your life, it was forever. Her phenomenal memory and attention to detail was reflected in the many gifts and remembrances she shared. Doodie had a talent for collecting just what you want-ed, then making sure she gave it to you. Shakespeare's quote, “though she be but little, she is fierce", was perhaps coined with her in mind as her larger than life personality was in sharp contrast to the small and sweet person she was. Doodie was a dedicated advocate for those in need who crossed her path. She had a genuine devotion to the Holy Mother and St. Therese "The Little Flower".
Iris was an avid toy and doll collector; loved attending plays and musicals; watching movies and crime shows. She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grand-children and great nieces and nephews.
Iris' life was full of faith, family, friends and kindness.
