David Michael Alexander, 61, of Rural Retreat, VA, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 4, 1955 in Arlington, VA and was the son of the late Betty Lou Alexander.
Mr. Alexander retired from Giant Foods in Fairfax, where he was employed for 35 years.
He is survived by his cousins, Loretta Roles and her son Danny Mitchell and his wife Angela and their son Danny, Bobby Roles Jr., Darlene Ritchie, Tommy Alexander and wife Francine, Charles Alexander, and Bonnie Ashley; and his aunts, Margaret Alexander and Molly Alexander.
A visitation and service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Theis Funeral Chapel in New Market. The Rev. Glen Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Market.
