Funeral services of Norma Jean Cummings Richardson, 87, of York will be Monday, July 10th at 2 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in the Sapps Community in Pickens County. Visitation will be Sunday, July 9th at Bumpers Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. and Monday at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Richardson passed away Friday, July 7th at Sumter Health & Rehabilitation. She was a retired clerk.
Survivors include her husband Charles Richardson of York, AL; daughter Patricia Pratt (Sonny) of Livingston, AL; brothers Olin Cummings of Carrolton, AL; Richard Cummings of Carrolton, AL; Ben Cummings of Memphis, TN; Hermon Cummings of Texas; Jerry Cummings of Ethelsville, AL; and Ronnie Cummings of Carrolton, AL; sisters Margaret Barnes of Moss Point, MS; Mary Trapp of Aliceville, AL; and Linda Blakneny of Tuscaloosa, AL; 2 grandchildren Michael Pratt (Kyla) of Livingston, AL and Stacey Pratt of Mobile, AL; 2 great grandchildren Brittney Pratt and Brandon Hunt.
