She was born in Mannington, W. Va., on Jan. 6, 1925, worked in various grocery stores for 10 years, and retired from Green Local Schools. She was a member of the 82nd Airborne Akron Chapter, the 20 Year Club at Mohawk Rubber and the Brown Street Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1989; brother, Charles Efaw, she is survived by her daughter; grandchildren; great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 1446 S. Main St., Akron, Ohio 44301, with Brother Bob Dickey officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
