Jeff was the son of Abraham Abel and Louisa Virginia Thurmond Fields...Born in Jasper, Missouri during the Civil War, a twin to Endora Lizzie Fields Bingham. His brother GW Fields of Jack County Texas brought him to Texas and took care of him for several years. Jeff was impaired and spent time in a couple of institutions in Texas and Oklahoma.
