DOVER – Rebecca J. Colokathis, 92, died Wednesday June 7, 2017 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital after a period of failing health.
Born in Dover June 17, 1924 the daughter of Peter and Antonia (Blougouras) Colokathis, was a graduate of Dover Schools and the University of New Hampshire.
Prior to her retirement she was physical education teacher in Auburn, Mass., where one of the athletic fields named for her.
She was predeceased by her parents, six brothers and a sister and is survived by a sister Ruth Colokathis and nieces and nephews.
At her request there are no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in the family lot at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave.
