Funeral services for Cletus H. Burkhalter, 59, were held Thursday October 28 at the Goodman Funeral Home in Frankfort with Dr. Howard Stone officiating and burial was in the Bunnell Cemetery.
Mr. Burkhalter died Saturday in his home at 5926 E. 12th St, Indianapolis. A native of Clinton Co., he was born Jan. 9, 1906, the son of Harry and Abigail (Knoppenberger) Burkhalter.
Surviving besides the widow, the former Lena Higgins, is one daughter, Sara Burkhalter of Madison, Wis.; one granddaughter, Karen Galworthy, and five aunts, Pearl Shaw of Frankfort, Ella Mitchell of Mulberry rt. 1, Clara Staple of Englewood, California, Ruby Shaw of Long Beach, Calif., and Lucy Worline of Vista, Calif
