Luann Garren was born on Mother's Day, May 9, 1948, in Fairland, Oklahoma to Lucille Garren. She married Larry M. (Pug) Jones on May 14, 1966, in Miami, Oklahoma. Luann attended the Goodman Full Gospel Church where she enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She also loved to sew and make children's clothing, among many other things.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Garren; step-father, Andy Anderson; father-in-law, Melvin Jones; a sister, Geneva Tichenor, and brother-in-law, Larry Brady.
Luann is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry (Pug) Jones; son, Allen Jones (Tracy); daughter, Shawndel Rainwater (Les); six grandchildren, Adriana Henry (Travis), Allura and Axton Jones, Addison Rainwater (Natalie), Gavin and Gabee Rainwater; one great granddaughter, Briar Henry; three brothers, Loren Garren (Linda), Ellick Garren (Carlene), Junior Garren and one sister, Cloeta Brady; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins,and friends.
Funeral services for Luann will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Reverend Virgil Sherwood will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.
