Mrs. Herbert Kasten, 58, of Rt. 1, Maribel, died Saturday morning at a Green
Bay hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Maribel. The Rev. Armin Engel will officiate and burial will be in
the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kasten was born March 15, 1909 in the town of Cooperstown, daughter of
the late William and Rosalie Knuth Radue. She was married to Herbert Kasten
Oct. 24, 1930 at Maribel, where she had resided her entire life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Kenneth; two brothers, Hugo and
Hilmar; a sister, Mrs. Hugo Habeck and six grandchildren; all of Rt. 1, Maribel.
Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 p.m. Tuesday until
10 a.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. at the church.
