Grace Bower, 82 passed away peacefully on December 22, 2015. Grace was born in San Diego to Andrew and Lucille Dyer. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse James Bower. They moved to Gardnerville in 1992 to be near their Son and Grandson. Grace was very active in the Douglas County Historical Society as well as several animal rescue organizations. Grace will be dearly missed by her sons, Jesse Bower, Evan Bower and Daughter Joanna Atha, Grandson Ryan, Grandaughters, Brigette, Jaydee and Kate, Brother William Dyer and great grandchildren Caleb and Molly. Arrangements being made by Fitzhenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Douglas County Historical Society or to Catmandu Animal Rescue in Carson City.
