Barbara J. Conway, age 84, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017.
She was the daughter of Emmet and Molly (nee Hemphill) Erwin.
Barbara was raised and educated in Neosho where she graduated from Neosho High School, Class of 1950.
She married Fredrick C. Conway December 24, 1952. Barbara and Fredrick relocated to Lockport, where they made their home for many years before moving to Wilmington. It was here that Barbara gained employment with Johnson & Johnson Personal Products, from where she retired. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and reading, but her favorite times were spent with family.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicky (Skyler) Vaughn of Coal City; granddaughter, Courtney (Eric) Ferrara of Goose Lake; great-granddaughter, Zoey Ferrara and brother, Larry E. Erwin of California.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers and her sister.
Private family inurnment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, where Barbara will be laid to rest with her husband.
