John Edward Charles LINTON (1910-1911), was the son of Charles "Charlie" Edward LINTON (1890-1958) & Annie Lucretia CRONK (1888-1956).

John was born on May 4, 1910, in the family farm house, in Fort Hunt, Mount Vernon District, Fairfax County, Virginia.1

His nickname was Charles Jr. According to his sister, Florence Avis LINTON Beavers, "Charles Jr., pulled a table cloth down off of the kitchen table with a hot coffee pot and died of scolded burns in the farm house of Charles and Annie Linton". 2 He died on April 15, 1911 and was buried in April 1911 in the Linton Plot, Union Cemetery, Alexandria, Virginia, on top of his grandfather John Edward LINTON (1838-1901). 3
