FRED SAND JR.
Fred Sand, Jr., 54, died Saturday afternoon at his home on route 1, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Jansky funeral chapel, Two Rivers, followed by services from the St. John’s Lutheran church, Two Rivers. Interment will be in Pioneer’s Rest cemetery, Two Rivers.
Fred Sand, Jr., was born in the town of Two Rivers in November, 1884, a son of Fred Sand, Sr. He remained on the homestead farm until his marriage to Miss Martha Lawrence when he took over a farm nearby. His wife died 11 years ago.
Survivors are two sons, Norbert, who is attending the University of Wisconsin, and Harold; one daughter Lorraine at home; father, Fred Sand, Sr.; one sister, Mrs. Louis Lehrmann, Two Creeks; and three brothers, Oscar, Ervin and Henry, all of the town of Two Rivers.
The body may be viewed at the Jansky funeral home.
