Obituary for Aloma Marea Adams
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 17, 2017 in the Liberty~Morris Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Haskell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M. Sunday, July 16.
Aloma Marea Adams, 85 years, 7 months and 23 days of age passed from this life on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Midwest City, OK. She was born on November 20, 1931 in Memphis, Tennessee to Bernard Theodore Roosevelt Mullins and Mary (Osbourn) Mullins.
Aloma lived in Memphis until around the age of 13 and then moved to Liberty~Morris where she graduated. She then went on to attend NSU earning a Master’s Degree. She spent 40 years teaching home economics and other subjects at Beggs High School. She married Lloyd Lee Adams and he preceded her in death in 1995. Aloma was a devoted wife and mother with a very strong faith and full of light who was feisty until the very end. She was a monumental supporter of QVC and loved working in her flower gardens.
Aloma is preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Mary Mullins, husband Lloyd Adams and 3 brothers. She is survived by her daughter Aloma Valora Adams of Midwest City, OK, sisters Alora Chase of Springfield, MO, and Gloria Biffle of Memphis, TN and many other relatives and friends.
