Macon, GA- Betty Allen Hart, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 17, 2017. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, 735 Pierce Ave., Macon GA 31204.
Mrs. Hart was born in Macon, Georgia to the late James Sidney and Eldora Cook Allen. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Arthur Allen, Alvin Allen, Eleanor Stockstill, David "Smokey" Allen. Betty was a member of the Log Cabin Methodist Church in Milledgeville and former member of Riverside Methodist Church. She was a member of the Macon Civic Chorale and was an avid bowler. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
