Mary Elizabeth Trunk, 95, of Eufaula, passed away on July 18, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mary was born on March 24, 1922 in Wooster, Ohio to Henry Sheridan Petty (Feb. 18, 1994-Jan. 3, 1974) and Cora Olive (Dennis) Petty. On November 30, 1941, she married Gene Willard Trunk, who preceded her in death on August 25, 2011. They were happily married for seventy years. Mary worked as a waitress for a short time. She later worked at a jewelry store in Seminole, Oklahoma until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Trunk; father, Henry Petty; mother, Cora Dennis Petty; one brother, Paul Petty; and step-mother, Bertha Petty. Graveside service will be July 22 at 10 a.m. at Bower Cemetery, Eufaula, OK.
