Willie went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 20, 2017 in San Angelo. Willie Earl Aclin was born December 12, 1917, in McLennan County to Benjamin and Delia Chaney Aclin. He married Helen Loleta Balkum on January 12, 1946, in Ballinger, Texas. Willie serviced in the U. S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He worked in the oilfields of West Texas for many years and then the U.S.Postal Service until his retirement. Willie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters. He is survived by sons, Ken Hameister and wife, Darlene, and Fred Hameister; 2 Grandsons, Jeff Hameister and wife, Michelle, and Eric Hameister and wife, Amy; 2 Granddaughters, Michelle Perez and husband, Peter, and Tammie Adams; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons. There will be an open time of visitation from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. for those wishing to pay respects at Johnson's Funeral Home on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Johnson's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Miles Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, San Angelo in honor of Willie Earl Aclin.
