Marie Anna is the daughter of Ole Christian Olson and Ingebord Bertia "Bertha" Tennyson. She was born and reared in Trempealeau County, WI and is a sister to Carl Theodore, Albert, Inge Julie Olson Glomstad, Bennie Oscar, Tilda Malvine, Emma Alma, Elmer, Norman Gilbert, Joseph C, Earl Rudolph, Iva Lillie and Arnold O Olson.
Marie Anna studied and worked as a graduate nurse prior to her marriage in 1914. She married Andrew Aam who had employed Marie Anna's brother, Elmer, as a machinist in Dawson, MT. They worked a ranch in Circle, McCone County, MT until her admission to the hospital in July 1935. Andrew died in 1938. Marie Anna was in care here for 9 yr 2 mo 26 days before her death of a cerebral hemorrhage.
