John was retired from CW Transport, where he served as a union steward. He was an avid golfer, was involved in both the Shriners and the Mason's and was a US Army Veteran, serving in WWII.
Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rebecca Ash; sisters, Dorothy and Tessie Mae, brothers, Ralph and Harold.
John is survived by wife, Karen (Bollinger) Ash, daughters, Uanna (Ray) Barr, Vada (Robin) Adams, Melody Ash and Stephanie (Cody) Curtis; sons: John (Virginia) Ash, Dustin (Sheri) Ash and Thomas Ash; granddaughter, Taylor Pemberton, great granddaughter, Maddie Curtis, numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Betty Jean and Rosemary, special friends, Angel and Larry Maier, and their children, Jacob, Aaron, Emmy, Brooke and Kylinn.
John will be remembered for the love he had for his family as well as the numerous children he has taken in and raised!
