Edward Morley Adams, SR. joined his Lord and Savior on July 20, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, 5774 School RD, Macon, GA 31216.

Mr. Adams was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on May 17, 1952. He loved and served his Lord faithfully for decades and he also was a devoted and loving husband, brother, son, dad, uncle, friend, and churchman. Mr. Adams participated in more than a dozen mission trips across the world. He worked with LDBC, Mid-State Baptist Church Builders for Christ, Servant King Prison Ministry, Rebuilding Macon, and Lions International. Mr. Adams was passionate about speaking in churches all over Georgia for Gideons International, to which he raised money to purchase and place Bibles for a lost world.

Mr. Adams is survived by his children, Eddie (Ali) Adams; Amy Adams; Jim Fordham; stepson, Jason (Jeannie) White; grandchildren, Andrew; Christopher; Hannah; Ally; Luke; mother, Mary B. Holt; siblings, Jerry (Donna); David; Bobby; Mary (Kent); Anearl; Earl (Sherry); David (Edna); many nieces, nephews, cousins, church friends, Gideon friends, Lions friends, and others that he took in and raised. He was predeceased by his wife, Scarlet; father, Edward H. Adams, JR.; grandparents, The Adams’s; The Bacon’s; many other family members; and dear friends.
