Rosemary was my best friend at senior school, where we first met in 1967.
She was wise beyond her years and a good listener.
She lost her Mum in 1980 and I lost my Dad the following year.
We both lost our remaining parent in 2007.
We refered to each other as sisters.
In August 1981, she married the love of her life, Richard, & I was privileged to be her chief bridesmaid.
Later when I married, she not only returned the favour, as my matron of honour, she also leant me her cathedral length wedding veil.
She became my eldest daughters Godmother, and I became her daughter's Godmother too.
Her sad passing is a shock to many.
She leaves behind, her husband, daughter and son, who she loved unconditionally.
Reunited with her Mum, Dad, Aunt Peggy & Aunt Mary.
