Assigned to Co. C, 55th Reg. Trained at Camp Wadsworth. Transferred to Co. F, 106th Inf., 27th Division. Promoted to First Class Private. Embarked at Newport News , Sept. 15, 1918, on Aeolus, and arrived at Brest, Sept. 28, 1918. Arrived at New York March 6, 1919. Discharged March 31, 1919, at Camp Dodge.
