Linda Carol Leise was born April 6, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, to Merle and Grace (Elliott) Leise. She was raised in the Albion area and graduated from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1963. She moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she studied art at the University of Phoenix. She was employed in the publishing business for many years and had her own business of photo restoration. She was married December 23, 1975, to David Mowry and they divorced in 1977. Her last job was for BOEING where she worked publishing instruction manuals. She moved back to Iowa in 2006 and lived on the farm where she grew up.
She leaves behind a sister, Janet Leise of Rochester, MN, and a brother, Alan Leise (Nancy Erdman) of Marshalltown, a niece, Tanya (Dan) Schuster, and nephews David (Dorinda) Leise, Chris (Angie) Carey, and Tom Snyder, two great nieces Bethany Nandy and Emily Schuster, and two great nephews Jeff Schuster and Mikey Leise.
