Mrs. Ida M. Adams, a resident of Lebensraum Nursing Home, died this morning in a local hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital since Aug. 18. Mrs. Adams was 97. Arrangements for the funeral are pending and will be announced later by the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adams was a former resident of Marquette before coming to Grand Island in 1935. She is survived by six children, Fred Adams, Milton, Wash., Mrs. Blanche Hasselbush, Glenwood Springs, Colo., Jay Adams, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Edith Everhart, Santa Maria, Calif., Mrs. Vern White, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Edwin Adams of Grand Island, 23 grandchildren and many other relatives.
Her husband, Thomas Adams died in 1935 at Marquette. She was preceded in death also by a daughter, Mrs. Edith Sims, her parents and two brothers.
