Kathryn Sue Sims Walton, 75, of Cleburne passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in Midlothian. She was born Nov. 19, 1941 in Cleburne to Jewel Ezell and Creola Allen Sims. She married Andrew Barron Walton, Jr. on August 20, 1958 in Cleburne.
Kathryn was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to many. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Creola Sims; sisters, Peggy Claybrook, Ruth Carper and Nell Stanley; and brothers, Bob Sims and Mickey Sims.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 58 years, Andy Walton; daughter, Kayla Kerby and husband Gary; sons, Dewayne Walton and wife Gina and Brandon Walton and wife Laura; grandchildren, Haley Crespo and husband Denys, Chase Kerby, Cody Walton and Shelby Walton, Landon Walton and Owen Walton; great grandchildren, River Crespo and Sienna Crespo; brothers, Sammy Sims and wife Helen, Jimmy Sims and wife Janis and Jacky Sims and wife Mary; and numerous additional loving family members and friends.
Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Rusty Hudson will officiate. Burial will follow at Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chase Kerby, Cody Walton, Kelly Sims, Scott Sims, Dusty Sims and Gary Kerby.
