Frederick Sheffield Kellogg, vice-president of the Charles C. Kellogg — Sons Lumber Co. of Utica, died Saturday at the Briar Crest Nursing Home in Ossining after a long illness.
Mr. Kellogg, former director of the Oneida National Bank and Trust Co., was the father-in-law of Dr. Phillip C. Jessup.
He was the son of Charles Cushman and Anna Van Eps Kellogg.
A decorated World War I major, he was one of the founders and a former vice-president of the Utica Mutual Insurance Co.
He was married to Elizabeth Walcott Oct. 7, 1896.
He leaves two sons, Stuart of Utica, and William of Los Angeles; and two daughters, Mrs. Philip C. (Lois W.) Jessup and Mrs. Lewis (Emeline) Adams, both of New York City.
