Arthur Clifton Standard, 83, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. He was born in Glennville September 19, 1933 to Heidt and Beatrice Kennedy Standard. He lived in Savannah, Augusta and Atlanta for many years, after retiring he then moved back to Glennville. He was a U.S Marine Corps Veteran, worked for GE Credit, ABCC Credit, RCA and retired from Mitsubishi Electric and Wayne Durrence Farms. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geraldine Lee Standard and brothers, Benny and L.D. Standard.
He is survived by:

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm, Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
