Betty H. McCrory was born Oct. 27, 1924, in Syracuse, MO., daughter of William Joseph and Martha Blanche Harned Collins. In 1962, she married Thomas Owen Rooney, who died in 1965. In 1977, in Winchester, Va., she married Raphael McCory, who died in 1982.
Betty died Monday Aug. 20, 2007 at Independence Manor Care Center in Independence MO. She is survived by one son and one daughter. She was preceded in death by one son, Sean Patrick Rooney, two brothers Gene and William Joseph Collins, and two sisters, Margaret Travers and Martha Stone. Burial will be in Crown Hill.
