Diphtheria, or rather blood poisoning that followed the disease, caused the death of Annie Elenfelt Banker at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Banker, this morning after a two weeks' illness. Miss Banker was 11 years of age. She had recovered from the disease, but the blood poisoning which followed she could not withstand. The family live at the corner of River and Union streets, and nearly all of its dozen members had the disease. They had been under quarantine for some time. The interment was made this morning.
