Robert Tip Hughes married Ora Domingus of Dothan on February 10, 1901 at the home of the Reverend Alexander Daughety. Tip and Ora lived on South Oates Street in Dothan. Tip died in May 1921 from blood poisoning after a short illness. Reverend R A Moody, Pastor of the Foster Street Methodist Church, conducted the funeral. Their children are: Annie Laurie Hughes Mullinex (1903) and Joseph Domingus Hughes (1910). Their son, Joseph Domingus, completed the genealogy for the Hughes family beginning with John A. Hughes, Sr.
