"D. J. (Davie John) Allison, for many years a resident of Van Buren, passed away Sunday at his home in Crystal City, following a lingering illness of several weeks. The body was brought here Tuesday, and following funeral services at the Baptist church, was placed to rest in the Van Buren cemetery. An obituary will follow in a later issue."
Even though this obituary states he passed away in Crystal City, his MO Death Cert. #38412 shows he was at St. Louis County Hospital in Clayton, St. Louis, MO when he died.
