Gazette Mail Jan 21, 1962 - Porter, Mrs. Muriel Leasure, 90, of 1623 McClung street, died Saturday in Daugherty Nursing Home after a long illness. She retired in 1924 after 29 years as principal of Elk School. She was a member of Christ Church Methodist. There are no immediate survivors. Service will be conducted at 2 pm Monday in Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home by Rev. Harry Light. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
