Hense Posey is the father of Alexander L. Posey, famous Creek Poet. Hense was born on Indian Territory Oklahoma and died at Bald Hill Creek Nation. Stories say Hense was of Irish/Scottish blood but litlle know he was actually 1/16 Creek from his grandmother (Berryhill) who was Creek. Hense is listed in the Creek Dawes records.
