Funeral services for George Henry Howard, 48, who died Saturday at 9:30 p. m. at his home, 210 Concrete Avenue, after a lingering illness, will be Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. in Peterson Bros.' chapel, Rev. J. W. Whiteside, pastor of Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Poyner Township Cemetery.
Mr. Howard was born Aug. 24, 1870, at Waukon, Ia., where he grew to manhood. On Sept. 11, 1906, he married Miss Sarah Wilma Glenn, at Waukon. They resided on a farm near there until April 4, 1925, when they removed to Waterloo.
Surviving besides the widow are four sons: Benjamin, Harry, Ralph, and Merville; a daughter, Flossie; a sister, Mrs. Henry Hill, Cedar Rapids, and a brother, Fred Howard, Postville, Ia.
